On the last day of my holidays, I was involved in the execution of a group shoot with kotani, Kani, Jassly and Blue for the casual outfits of Tiger & Bunny. It was a tempestuous shoot, literally, as not only did we get kicked out of two locations in short succession, but the skies decided to start pouring electricity, sound and water in the middle of the shoot. Eventually, we retreated to a car park to kinda complete the shoot, then did a few shots at someone’s high rise balcony.
The same equipment failure issue was plaguing me at this shoot so to be honest, it was a challenging shoot. All the same, I got some good results through the perseverance of the cosplayers. Thanks to kotani’s partner for the use of his car – the headlights were actually on for the shots in the carpark, but were enhanced with strategic use of flashes.
